Welcome back to the official Coin to a Cat blog! Today I registered the domain name cointoacat.com. It was quick, easy, and a lot cheaper than buying Flash. However, I am lousy at web design. My first thought upon purchasing the domain was, "Great! Now I can put up a portfolio site as well as an NK site!" Thing is, I'm an illustrator, not a programmer. I looked around at different templates that my registrar provides, but none of them really appealed to me. They all looked too uniform and not-me-ish. Fortunately for me I have a friend that is a real whiz at programming who offered to set the site up for me. Don't get me wrong, I can make basic changes like adding an image, but when it comes to building a site from scratch I'm clueless.

In other news, a strange anime character has appeared on TVs all over NK's hometown. Who could this character be? Why, it's none other than Nezu-Nezu! This little guy has a whole legion of kawaii-ing otaku hanging on his every word. At this point, I don't think Nezu-Nezu will be anything but a sort of background character, although he does have quite an influence over another character that will appear. I would show you that character but I've gotta leave some surprises, right? Besides, Nezu-Nezu is so scary you will probably never want to come back to this blog again, haha.

Pepper spray! That sounds delicious!

OK, my original plan this evening was to sit down and bust out some storyboard sketches for an animation project, but then I made the following mistake: I looked for a Chowder background via Google first. You know, Chowder, the cartoon that airs on Cartoon Network. I didn't find one, sadly, but I DID find the blog of the creator of the show, C.H. Greenblatt (which is here, by the way). Being easily influenced, I decided to make a blog myself, and so, after about two story sketches, I came to be here, making a logo for my blog. Shiiiiiiiiny.

Anyway, this will be the home for info concerning, "A Coin to a Cat", my upcoming comic. So, if you have any interest in NK and his devious ferret sidekick, stay tuned!
